Google to launch Pixel Watch, Pixel 7 on Oct 6

Sept 6 (Reuters) – Alphabet Inc’s Google (GOOGL.O) will unveil the Pixel 7 and its first smartwatch on Oct. 6 as the company prepares a new series with Apple Inc (AAPL.O) Competing products compete. Wednesday.

Google’s new devices will be available at GoogleStore.com and its brick-and-mortar stores in the New York City area from launch, the company said in a blog post on Tuesday. https://bit.ly/3QlNhEX

The Pixel 7 phones will run on Android 13 and feature the latest version of Google’s custom mobile chip, Tensor.

The launch will take place near Williamsburg, New York, at 10:00 am ET (2:00 pm GMT).

Google offered previews of the Pixel 7 smartphone and Pixel Watch at its I/O event in May.
