a new one Ragnarok trailer, courtesy of Game Informer, showing the new dwarven realm, Svartalfheim. The short video doesn’t show much gameplay, but it does give us an idea of what Svartalfheim will look and feel like.

Svartavheim is a product of dwarven ingenuity, with “mines, artificial waterways, and sprawling cities all laying the groundwork for a potentially complex environmental puzzle,” the narrator says. Kratos can freeze water with his Leviathan Axe and smash jars with his Chaos Blade. The video also shows Kratos rowing around Svaltaffheim, with the narrator teasing that there may be other undisclosed modes of transportation available.

This teaser video follows Game Informer’s interview with Ragnarok’s lead combat designers Mihir Sheth and Denny Yeh. In combat, once infused with Frost, the Leviathan Axe can use its weapon’s signature move, Frost Awakening, to deal significant damage to enemies.

New shield types will also be a feature in Ragnarok – some will be designed for optimal blocking, while others will feature a “Shockwave” feature. Yeh and Sheth also revealed a new lizard-like enemy named Grims. They can be of the ranged type, Cursed Grims, which shoot liquid projectiles from their mouths.

Ragnarok will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9.
