Fortnite Fortnitemares is the battle royale game’s annual event, with Halloween coming to players, worlds and a few different modes. That usually means a lot of fun skins, and maybe even seeing things like zombies in standard battle royale mode.
Given that we’ve just said goodbye to August, you might not be thinking about Halloween, but you’d be wrong. Fortnitemares actually started with the Fortnite callout last month and we’re all in for this spooky season, so you better believe we’re happy to bring you the good news that Fortnitemares has already started in Save the World #3 Chapter 4 pre-season mode.
There are some new knights to recruit and play, some fun new weapons like the Jack-O-Launcher, and the return of the dungeon below Homebase. In fact, there are actually five different dungeons to complete alone or with your friends, and you can find all the new goodies along the way.
While Save the World Mode isn’t quite as popular as Fortnite’s standard PvP offering, it’s still fun, and if you still have access to it, there’s no reason not to. If you don’t already have it but want to have it, you can actually get it as part of the new Crossmark Operative Pack, which comes with the Nia outfit, some other widgets, and the Save the World campaign.
