

Comcast Sky and Paramount Announce Official Release Dates sky show time, a new European streaming service. It will initially launch in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden on September 20, 2022. The service’s content lineup includes a combination of Paramount+, Showtime and Peacock, offering subscribers more than 10,000 hours of content on one platform.
At launch, the SkyShowtime app will be available in the Nordics on Android devices, iOS devices, tvOS and SkyShowtime website. Monthly subscription prices vary per country. SkyShowtime is 69 DKK in Denmark, 6.99 EUR in Finland, 79 NOK in Norway and 79 SEK in Sweden.
The streaming service is replacing Paramount+, which launched in the Nordics last March 2021. Nordic Paramount+ subscribers will move to SkyShowtime when it launches.
SkyShowtime will expand to the Netherlands later this year. In 2023, the service will be launched in 17 additional countries, including Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia , and Spain. Overall, SkyShowtime will be available to subscribers in 22 territories over the next year.
Not only will the streaming service feature popular TV series, movies and local originals, it will also offer exclusive premieres of first-running theatrical films from Paramount Pictures and Universal. Content will be available in 18 different languages.
