SHANGHAI, Aug 27 (Reuters) – CATL (300750.SZ)’s new proprietary M3P battery can increase energy density by 10 to 20 percent compared with iron phosphate batteries, company chairman Zeng Yuqun said on Saturday
Zeng told an industry event in Beijing that CATL’s Kirin batteries use M3P material, a technology the company has developed that can enable electric vehicles to travel 700 kilometers (430 miles) per charge.
