The best-selling author also praised the film for capturing the complex relationship between Hunter Biden and his father with humor and sincerity.
“I think this will surprise a lot of people: the complexity of Joe and Hunter Biden’s relationship because they talk about how much they love each other, and I believe that’s part of it. But it’s a very complex layering relationship,” he said. “I think Hunter has a sense of frustration and resentment towards his dad because he’s expected to collect all this money for the family and he’s been in that situation. “For all the crazy things that Hunter Biden has done – despite all the money he’s taken from Russia and Ukraine – the things that come from China worry me the most because of course China is our mainstay on the global stage.
