A White House spokesman said MAGA Republicans, allied with former President Donald Trump, fit the “definition of fascism” and played a role in “attacking our democracy.”
White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday: “In laying out and defining what the MAGA Republicans do, I know very well that you look at the definition of fascism and you think of them What has been done in terms of attacking our democracy. — that’s it. She added, “They’re taking away our freedom and our right to vote. That’s it.”
Her remarks echoed that of President Biden, who described his allegiance to the “extreme MAGA philosophy” as “semi-fascist.”
